In 1969, Fleetwood Mac sold more records than the Beatles and the Rolling Stones. Their 1977 album "Rumours" is one of the most successful albums in music history and has sold over 40 million copies worldwide. In 1978, it won the Grammy for "Album of the Year" and remained unchallenged at the top of the US Billboard charts for over 30 weeks.

So it's no wonder that a huge fan base developed over the decades around the band, which was characterized by numerous line-up changes - and still exists today. Since 1999, "Rumours of Fleetwood Mac" have been dedicated to the musical legacy of this extraordinary formation, which played a decisive role in shaping the sound and zeitgeist of the 1960s to 1990s. However, to call this band, consisting of seven musicians, a tribute band would definitely be too short-sighted: Their live videos on YouTube have now reached over 100 million views, and their live shows have also delighted millions of Fleetwood Mac fans - including in Germany. After the celebrated tour finale at the end of March this year, German fans can now look forward to another tour: In spring 2027, "Rumours of Fleetwood Mac" will return to Germany for a total of 19 concerts to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the legendary album "Rumours".

The 2025 and 2026 tours were already a huge triumph. Numerous concerts were completely sold out and additional dates had to be scheduled in many places to meet the enormous demand. With their passionate performance, "Rumors of Fleetwood Mac" succeeded in inspiring both long-time Fleetwood Mac fans and new listeners. More than 25 songs - including the greatest hits as well as rarely played musical gems - turned the shows into an intense journey back in time to the golden era of Fleetwood Mac and opened a musical door to special moments for many fans. The audience's reactions were correspondingly euphoric: Many visitors reported goosebump moments and a concert experience full of memories and emotions.

The press was also impressed: the Abendzeitung München wrote that "Rumours of Fleetwood Mac thrilled the audience". The Stuttgarter Zeitung even wrote that the band "swept the audience [...] off their feet". The Hamburger Abendblatt described the concert as "almost as beautiful as with Fleetwood Mac".

Other media praised the extraordinary authenticity of the production. The Südwest Presse, for example, emphasized that "Rumours of Fleetwood Mac amazes with its authentic sound". Finally, the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung summarized that it was "a musical experience that is in no way inferior to the original". Word of their love for the music of Fleetwood Mac and their ability to put on a show worthy of their idols has spread quickly - not only among their fans, who have been celebrating them at their performances around the globe for 27 years: "Rumours of Fleetwood Mac" have long since received the official blessing of the co-founder and drummer of the original band, Mick Fleetwood: "An extraordinary emotive performance of Fleetwood Mac".

The motto of "Rumours of Fleetwood Mac" is "It's About Their Music". With this in mind, the seven-piece formation performs the music of Fleetwood Mac as faithfully as possible with the respect it deserves and, above all, revives the spirit of the globally acclaimed band, including that of the time. They themselves say: "These precious songs have been the soundtrack to many people's lives the world over and we know that you hold them close. That stands true for us too."

The legendary studio album "Rumours" is the focus of the 2027 tour. To mark the 50th anniversary of the Grammy award-winning masterpiece, "Rumours of Fleetwood Mac" will be celebrating its timeless songs as well as numerous other Fleetwood Mac classics on German stages in March and April. This is a special opportunity for fans to immerse themselves once again in the unique music of one of the most important bands in rock history.
