SAAL FREI has no fixed script, no choreography, and no composition. Everything that happens on this evening emerges—RIGHT NOW. Impulses are set, picked up, and transformed:
A movement finds its response in a sound. The sound creates a mood. The mood becomes an impulse for action. Action creates relationships. Relationships come alive, change, and continually give rise to something new.
What these evenings have in common is the artistic quality of the performers: in ever-changing constellations, artists from dance, music, puppet/object theater, and theater come together and dare to embrace the moment. SAAL FREI takes the audience on a journey where the unpredictability of the moment is just as present as the magic of unrepeatable moments.
