Swan Lake is the first ballet composition by Peter I. Tchaikovsky from 1875-1877 and is considered by ballet audiences and music lovers all over the world to be the greatest and not without reason the most popular and most frequently performed classical-romantic fairytale ballet in the international ballet repertoire. As the famous ballerina Galina Ulanova said, it is "the most beautiful ballet imaginable"
The worldwide success of Swan Lake is not only based on Tchaikovsky's catchy and captivating music, but also on the now world-famous choreography by Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov from the St. Petersburg model production of 1895. The dance ensemble "Usti", which has won several awards, is now known throughout Europe and is regarded as a training ground for young, talented artists. With its classical production, the ensemble remains true to the ballet tradition and yet creates its very own version of the classic. The high art of dance, inserted into the romantic love story, creates a fairy tale for the whole family and seduces the viewer into dreams and reality.
