Quench your thirst for knowledge not in a traditional lecture hall, but in a relaxed setting over a glass of beer, wine, or sparkling water—and inspire young people and the young at heart to take an interest in the natural sciences. That’s the idea behind the Science Pub, through which the Society for Natural History in Württemberg, together with the State Museum of Natural History in Stuttgart and the Association of Friends of the University of Stuttgart, is now enriching Stuttgart’s cultural scene.
After a short, lively pub quiz to get things started, you’ll meet leading scientists who enjoy their research and are allowed to do everything at the Science Pub except one thing: be boring. And they also have time to enjoy a beer themselves while engaging in open discussions in a relaxed atmosphere.
