Sebastian Fitzek’s *The Invitation*—The Bestseller as a Gripping Theater Experience
Snowed in. Cut off. At the mercy of others.
Marla Lindberg accepts an invitation to a class reunion at a remote mountain hotel in the Alps—a decision she soon comes to regret. What starts as a seemingly harmless reunion turns into a dangerous psychological game.
Marla suffers from face blindness. She doesn’t recognize people by their appearance, but only by their voices and movements. Trapped in a snowstorm, with no internet and no way to escape, she doesn’t know whom she can trust. Each of her former classmates seems to be hiding something—and it quickly becomes clear that Marla was deliberately lured to this place.
Surprising twists, a strong theater ensemble, and an epic soundtrack bring the signature Fitzek atmosphere to life on stage and keep the tension high until the very last minute.
