shindig #5: shindig x TOPLAP Karlsruhe: Algorithmic Music und Live Coding

shindig is a series of events focusing on experimental post-internet music and at the same time a space for learning and exchange.

The fifth edition of shindig invites TOPLAP Karlsruhe: an initiative dealing with live coding in electronic music and video. TOPLAP stands for Transdimensional Organization for the Purity of Live Artistic Programming. The initiative was launched in 2004 and has since developed into a global network.
On February 21, you can watch and listen to the live coders programming and improvising music and visuals in the project space - all code manipulations and creations will be projected and displayed.

Two workshops will be offered during the day, focusing on the open source live coding platforms strudel and SuperCollider.
