“Shorties” presents thematically linked pieces from puppet theater, dance, and film. The result is a diverse evening that combines lightheartedness with artistic seriousness and helps bring together people with very different artistic backgrounds.

A string curtain divides the stage into a front and a back—into the visible and the invisible, into this world and the next. An old woman is at the end of her life and is invited by Death to cross the threshold into the next life, into nothingness, into... Their encounter is accompanied by a song, sung by the performer, by Death, or by the woman herself. By the end of the song, the woman, too, has reached the end of her life.

In a time when censorship seems to permeate every aspect of our lives, Zero longs to articulate the unspeakable—to tear down walls and bring buried emotions to the surface. Zero yearns for life. Zero yearns for truth. Curious, courageous, and unafraid of imperfection, Zero balances between vulnerability and play. An invitation to inhabit an in-between space where every gesture becomes an act of remembrance.

Created through improvisation to Mozart’s Symphony No. 25, this work in progress explores the physical resonance of music. A continuous flow of movement is interrupted by sharp accents and unexpected positions. A palpable tension arises between being driven by the rhythm and the impulse to conduct the orchestra oneself. A search for a performative presence that balances precision, playfulness, and the moment of letting go.
