Star Wars in Concert - The Empire Strikes Back

STAR WARS in Concert – The Empire Strikes Back

The complete film with a live orchestra

George Lucas’s second film in the STAR WARS saga, released in 1980, is considered by many fans to be the best of the series. Iconic characters, villains, Oscar-winning special effects, fantastic
locations, and, of course, John Williams’ multi-award-winning soundtrack set
the standard for all subsequent installments of the space epic. Audiences can look forward to a galactic cinematic and auditory journey when this science-fiction fairy tale comes to the concert hall, accompanied live by a large symphony orchestra. Set to the impressive film score, the familiar heroes and villains appear on a large screen in the turbulent battle between the light and dark sides of the Force.
The Rebels have just suffered a bitter defeat: After their secret base was tracked down and destroyed by the Imperial Starfleet, the friends are now fighting their way through on their own. This allows Darth Vader to lure Luke into a dangerous trap and challenge him to one of the most legendary duels in film history.
