75 YEARS OF THE SWR BIG BAND
THE SWINGING CHRISTMAS SHOW
PAUL CARRACK & THE SWR BIG BAND FEATURING KIM SANDERS & DENNIS VAN AARSSEN
This is the only way to truly kick off the Christmas season—the audience has agreed on this for years, and these concerts have achieved cult status in Stuttgart’s Advent calendar. And in this anniversary year, there are some new highlights on the program. Singer Kim Sanders (USA) and her colleague Dennis van Aarssen (NL)—two extraordinary voices who already wowed the crowd this summer at the Holiday Jump on Stuttgart’s Killesberg—are coming to Stuttgart. But for more than 20 years, the spotlight has been on Paul Carrack with his irresistible voice, and together with the SWR Big Band, they create a truly unique Christmas evening.
In addition to Christmas classics like “Winter Wonderland” and “White Christmas,” the program features Carrack’s hits “The Living Years,” “Over My Shoulder,” and “How Long,” as well as songs from their joint album *Don’t Wait Too Long*. Kim Sanders will also sing Christmas classics by artists such as Ella Fitzgerald, and the young crooner from the Netherlands is every bit her equal with songs by Nat King Cole and Tony Bennett. All in all, a world-class Christmas show. So if you’re looking to let the sun shine in your heart during the dark winter months, *The Swing Christmas Show* is the perfect choice.
