After Tabaluga found reason in the first part, he now embarks on another fantastic journey.

Long, long ago, dragons once lived and protected the world from the cold of the ice with the warmth of their fire. But over time, the ice began to destroy all living things. Arktos, a terrifying snowman, is determined to cover the world in ice. The old dragon Tyrion wants to prepare his young son Tabaluga for his predestined mission to protect the world. But to do so, Tabaluga must find the True Fire, for only then can he put an end to Arktos’s schemes. Tabaluga has the support of a wizard, and the dragon now sets out to find the fire. Tabaluga faces many dangers, such as the spider woman Tarantula, and also discovers beautiful things along the way. In this way, Tabaluga learns that the world, with all its good and evil, is wonderful and worth saving. Arktos wants to prevent Tabaluga from fulfilling his destiny and creates a beautiful being out of pure ice: the girl Lilli. Lilli’s sole purpose is to distract Tabaluga from his quest for the True Fire. Just as Arktos planned, Tabaluga falls in love with Lilli, but through this, he discovers a great and beautiful power: love.
