Theaterstück "Und ob wir Lust haben!"

The new play "Und ob wir Lust haben!" by the bhz theater group ChiBäm, which will be performed in the Theater der Altstadt, deals with topics such as body positivity, femininity, masculinity and body images of people with disabilities.

The 90-minute play was developed by employees based on their own experiences, wishes and desires. Texts from poetry books, specialist books and online articles on sexuality and disability, product descriptions of aids such as gripping and masturbation aids and improvisations that were created during rehearsals were incorporated. The results of a survey of passers-by on Stuttgart's Königstraße and an exchange with a sexual counselor were also incorporated.

The audience can expect a multi-layered and entertaining examination of love, sexuality and disability in the form of videos and acted scenes that are intended to entertain, inspire reflection and break down prejudices. The theater project is sponsored by the Bauder Foundation and the City of Stuttgart.
