"Neo Nahda" by May Ziadé (United Kingdom / 2023 / 12 min / in English with English subtitles)
A film about the search for hidden queer stories in the archive. May Ziadé discovers photographs of Arab women from the 1920s who dressed as men - evidence that queer communities in the Middle East have a history and ancestors.
"Die Räuberinnen" by Isa Schieche (Austria / 2023 / 15 min / in German)
Three trans women meet in a country house to plan a robbery. The trick of the robbery is that they disguise themselves as men in order to lay a false trail. As they share their daily lives as an established team and lovers, they practice speaking in a low voice, walking masculine and acting masculine.
"Seahorse Parents" by Miriam Guttmann (Netherlands / 2023 / 9:30 min / in English and Dutch with German subtitles)
Using the animal as a metaphor, pregnant trans people proudly call themselves "Seahorse Parents". With her multimedia project, Miriam directs our attention to society's ideas about pregnancy.
"You and Me makes Three" by Emmalie El Fadli (United Kingdom / 2026 / 19 min / in English with English subtitles)
When Alannah finally decides she's ready for a baby, she and her wife Amara dive headfirst into the wild world of sperm donors, homemade insemination and awkward conversations, all while trying to maintain their sanity (and dignity).
