Trivium and In Flames share a long history. For two decades now, the two bands’ touring paths have crossed time and again, leading not only to numerous memorable shows but also to a close friendship between the bands. This was evident as recently as mid-August at In Flames’ own festival in Gothenburg, when Trivium singer Matt Heafy joined In Flames for a joint performance of “Artifacts Of The Black Rain.”

The upcoming European tour will be their biggest joint concert tour to date. PALEFACE SWISS and VOLA will open the shows as special guests, rounding out a spectacular lineup that brings together multiple generations of metal fans.

IN FLAMES are among the world’s greatest metal bands—and they’ve never shied away from continually pushing their artistic boundaries and creating music that’s as catchy as it is brutal. Founded in 1990, the band is considered one of the pioneers of melodic death metal and a key representative of the so-called “Gothenburg Sound.”

With fourteen studio albums to date, countless successful tours around the globe—including alongside Black Sabbath, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Judas Priest, and Slayer—, millions of records sold, and a massive global fan base, IN FLAMES have long proven themselves to be an unstoppable force.

Since their 1994 debut album *Lunar Strain*, the band’s distinctive sound—characterized by the sophisticated interplay of two guitars, melodic vocals, and outstanding arrangements—has continued to evolve over the years.

Led by singer and guitarist Matthew K. Heafy and rounded out by guitarist Corey Beaulieu, bassist Paolo Gregoletto, and drummer Alex Rüdinger, TRIVIUM have been among the most consistent forces in the metal scene for more than two decades.

With their breakthrough album *Ascendancy*, they were named “Album of the Year” by *Kerrang!*. The album achieved gold status in the UK, sold half a million copies worldwide, and was later voted one of the 15 best metal albums of the century by *Metal Hammer*.

Since then, they’ve earned two additional gold and silver certifications, six consecutive Top 25 entries on the Billboard 200, and a quarter of a billion streams. With the EP *Struck Dead*, released in 2025—which already offers a taste of the upcoming new music—and Alex Rüdinger on drums, a new era is now beginning for TRIVIUM.

Special Guests: PALEFACE SWISS and VOLA

Hailing from Zurich, PALEFACE SWISS have rapidly risen from the extreme metal underground to become one of Europe’s most talked-about live acts. The band blends deathcore, beatdown hardcore, and nu-metal into a sound that is as brutal as it is emotionally unfiltered. Led by charismatic frontman Marc “Zelli” Zellweger, PALEFACE SWISS have further solidified their reputation for uncompromising riffs and explosive, high-energy live shows with their 2025 album *Cursed* and the 2026 EP *The Wilted* —and are now among the most exciting new acts on the international scene.

Hailing from Copenhagen, VOLA is a Danish-Swedish progressive metal band that blends tech metal, djent, and electronica with atmospheric, captivating songwriting. Since their breakthrough with *Inmazes* in 2016, the band has built a loyal global fan base and amassed tens of millions of streams. With their 2024 album *Friend Of A Phantom*, which features a guest appearance by IN FLAMES frontman Anders Fridén, VOLA once again impressively demonstrated their genre-spanning sound.
