Field recordings and generative projections intertwine organically, influencing and controlling one another. Like simple organisms, music and projection grow together. Neural networks and L-systems control additional parameters—resulting in a total work of art that blends sound, image, and code.
Michael Fiedler moves between experimental electronic music, dub, jazz, ambient, and film scoring. Analog and digital instruments, field recordings, and custom-built effect chains shape his exploration of sound at the intersection of human and machine, structure and chaos.
Timo Dufner is a musician, media artist, and computer scientist. Using live coding, real-time audio processing, machine learning, and AI, he develops audiovisual systems in which glitches, chance occurrences, and feedback become artistic material.
