The Argentinian dance and music show VIDA is coming to Germany again in 2026. The world stars Nicole Nau & Luis Pereyra will be dancing at the top, accompanied by their company of outstanding soloists. In music. Dance and poetry, they show the incredible diversity of Argentinian culture in their new program. Boleadoras whir through the air. Heels and the edges of feet hit the floor. Soles scuff. Clothes rustle. Glances meet. The dancers place their steps razor-sharp in the space between the legs of their partner, whose waist draws artful figure eights. The sound of guitars and drums. Singing and stories permeate the action. The stage is under the spell of Argentinian passion. Magical. Courageously and spontaneously, men and women dance the magic of the past, dare to embrace the real tango and the duel of the future. With texts by Jorge Luis Borges. Music by Astor Piazzolla. Original compositions by Luis Pereyra and a top-class selection of popular Argentinian music. Luis Pereyra, dancer, choreographer, director, singer, performer. The multi-talented dancer from Argentina has been dancing since the age of 5 and has been enchanting audiences worldwide for 50 years with his charm, elegance, versatility and passion from the very first moment of the show. His wife Nicole Nau embodies the tango like no other. The Düsseldorf native is an ambassador for her adopted home of Argentina and has even been depicted on two stamps with her passion for tango. In poetic passages, she tells of the mystery, of the roots, of the poetry of courageous men and the strength of proud women.
In June 2025, Nicole Nau & Luis Pereyra's first joint book will be published: Der Klang meiner Erde, PalmArtPress Verlag Berlin. This book weaves itself into the work as a common thread.
