Wandelkonzert | Zier, Zeichen & Zwischentöne
Duration
120 minutes
Experience an extraordinary walking concert at the Württemberg State Museum, where the cultural history of jewelry—with its connections to power, identity, and status—is brought to life in a striking and immersive way through sound.
Following a musical prelude in the historic Dürnitz museum foyer, you’ll set out in small groups on a tour through the Old Palace. At five selected stations, specially staged soundscapes unfold, in which the Memoria Tenere ensemble musically reinterprets historic rooms and significant objects.
The compositions for mezzo-soprano, oboe, clarinet, strings, and percussion intertwine with the stories of the Celts, the Alemanni, and the Dukes of Württemberg. The historic clock collection and the magnificent Württemberg royal crown also become part of an impressive interplay of music, architecture, and history.
Here’s what awaits you:
- A walking concert with the Ensemble Memoria Tenere
- Music for mezzo-soprano, oboe, clarinet, strings, and percussion
- A guided tour with five stops amidst the museum’s significant collections
- A sensory experience blending music, jewelry, history, and architecture
