Ornamentation and its multifaceted connections to power, identity, and status form the heart of this concert at the Old Castle. Following a resonant opening in the Dürnitz Museum foyer, the audience will set out in small groups on a tour through five selected stations at the State Museum. Each station unfolds as its own sound world, staged in the style of chamber music.
The music of the ensemble Memoria Tenere blends with the stories of the Celts, the Alemanni, and the Dukes of Württemberg. It intertwines with the intricate mechanics of the historical clock collection and the radiant splendor of the Württemberg royal crown—a sensory interplay of sound, history, and space.
