COSSU is a comedian, content creator, and rapper.
With his viral parodies of German quirks and dialects, COSSU regularly delights hundreds of thousands of fans on Instagram and TikTok.
Whether it’s Swabian, Saxon, or Berlin dialect—COSSU shows, with plenty of humor, that there’s more that unites us than divides us. Having grown up in the beautiful town of Haslach in the Black Forest, COSSU is now
taking to live stages outside his hometown for the first time: an energetic mix of comedy, music, and language that captivates the audience and showcases the diversity of sounds in Germany.
His best-selling book “WE ARE THE GERMANS” made it straight onto the Spiegel bestseller list and thus lends its name to his first solo show.

COSSU has long been a fixture on the German comedy and entertainment scene—and for good reason:
His versatility, his wordplay, and his knack for addressing social issues make him one of a kind. Despite all the humorous content he posts online, he’s also an active advocate against racism and xenophobia.

He’s already appeared on numerous TV shows, including as a sidekick on “Darf er das?! – The Chris Tall Show” (RTL), on “Verstehen Sie Spaß?” (DAS ERSTE), as a guest on the “NDR Talkshow”—and starting in June 2025, he’ll appear as an actor in the ZDF comedy series “Tschappel.”
He also regularly draws laughs on “strassenstars” (HR).
From 2014 to 2019, COSSU showcased his live performance skills and
spontaneity—combined with infectious charm and energy—in large venues as the opening act for Bülent Ceylan.
