What do you know about your brain? Very little!
What does your brain know about you? Absolutely everything!

That’s the starting point for Werner Koczwara’s new show: a cabaret about the brain, our central organ that’s both brilliant and completely idiotic. After all, it lets us send robots to Mars, but meanwhile we’re standing around in the basement, having forgotten why we went there in the first place. It performs the most amazing calculations in our heads, but we ourselves struggle through our high school math exams!

Things can’t go on like this. Evolution took 300 million years to develop the brain, yet when we’re sitting in front of the TV in the evening, serious doubts arise as to whether all that effort was really worth it.

So let’s take a completely fresh look at our brain: Why does it constantly get us excited about new diets, only for us to end up fatter most of the time? Why do we often have a completely relaxing day, only to have catastrophic nightmares at night? Could it be that our brain is playing tricks on us?

So we urgently need to take a closer look at our brain. Large parts of it are still shivering in a Stone Age cave, and now it’s suddenly supposed to prevent global warming.

The brain is panicking, reacting with completely nonsensical measures like diesel driving bans and befriending the AfD—and the question is: Just how stupid can our brain get?
So let’s just take a look at the brain.

Werner Koczwara does just that: thoroughly. In detail. To the point.
An exciting, informative, and above all, very funny show. Cabaret that not only entertains but also enriches. Your brain will be thrilled.
