Laurence says goodbye to her late partner Clément.

Clément’s siblings from Amarche du Monde show up unexpectedly. They stay only briefly to offer their condolences and then, without a second thought, move on to dividing up the inheritance—in a very hands-on way, by clearing out the apartment; after all, the moving van is already parked outside.

Clément’s best friend, Gérald, also demands a share based on a loan he had previously granted. Valérie, a quick-witted plumber, observes the events while repairing the boiler in the cold apartment. But the situation escalates when someone else arrives…
