From Sunday, July 25, through Saturday, July 31, 2027, Stuttgart will host the Women’s Softball European Championship. In the 26th edition of the European Championship, 21 national teams will face off and compete for the continental title. The tournament is one of the most important competitions in European softball and brings Europe’s best players to the state capital. The defending champion is Italy, which defeated the Netherlands in the 2025 final. For one week, the program will feature top-class international competition and exciting matches. By hosting the European Championship, Stuttgart underscores its importance as a host city for major international sporting events.
