Goodbye, mainstream! Welcome to new horizons! Since 1983, the "Erlkoenig" has enriched the city with a diverse selection of books and films from the LGBTQ+ scene. Under the management of Thomas Ott, this bookshop is run with passion and dedication, making it one of the last remaining queer bookshops in the German-speaking world. The bookshop, which is located on Nesenbachstraße, is anything but conventional. With a wide selection of queer content, different themes and multi-faceted characters, it offers bookworms a varied literary experience on 85 square meters. Customers even travel from further afield to shop here. Bookworms can of course order anything their heart desires - whether it's offbeat or mainstream literature. It is definitely worth visiting this place and being enchanted.
