Stauffenberg Memorial

Stauffenberg-Platz, 70173 Stuttgart
Open from 10:00 to 18:00 o'clock

The Stauffenberg memorial site on Stuttgart's Karlsplatz pays tribute to Berthold and Claus Schenk Graf von Stauffenberg. The exhibition documents the lives of the two brothers: their childhood and youth in Stuttgart, their careers in public service, which were marked by a strong sense of duty, and their resistance to Hitler, which led to their execution. The Memorial is located in Stuttgart's Old Palace, where the Stauffenberg brothers spent their childhood and early years. Commissioned by the Baden-Württemberg Foundation, the exhibition was conceived and realised by the Haus der Geschichte (House of History).
