Die Raumgalerie

This Way

in 1.4 Kilometer Start Route

The Raumgalerie in the west of Stuttgart with its historic building stock is located on the first floor of a residential building built in 1904. Since the end of 2015, architecture, interior design, design, urban planning and much more have been on show in the two rooms with a charming window view. However, the exhibitions, symposia, happenings and other special events in the Raumgalerie not only showcase buildings, but also deliberately seek out the interface with fine art, scenography, photography, music, graphics, film and other disciplines. Anyone who is creative likes to be inspired by many different and, above all, diverse directions. You will find what you are looking for in the Raumgalerie.

The Raumgalerie is curated by spatial journalist Thomas Geuder, who has worked for many years as an architecture journalist for national and international magazines and finds his diverse topics in his everyday work. With the Raumgalerie, they have also set themselves the task of exploring the passion of the people behind the work. At a vernissage, for example, the exhibitor is always asked to give an interview (the Raumgeflüster), in which the audience is expressly invited to join in the discussion. The focus is on intensive discourse and exchange of ideas about trends in building culture and society, leading to enriching encounters and inspiring experiences every time.

With its program, the Raumgalerie not only addresses the professional audience and the interested public, but also seeks an intensive, stimulating and critical alliance between the two.

Opening hours:
Usually Monday to Friday 11 am to 7 pm, Saturday 1 pm to 6 pm, most public holidays. The Raumjournalist is occasionally on the road for journalistic purposes, which is why the Raumgalerie is closed. If you want to be sure that the Raumgalerie is open, it is best to call in advance. More information can also be found on the website.
