Welcome to "Horst Emrich's Theater Workshop"

- At the age of 10 I started performing sketches at parties, at the age of 15 I developed my idiosyncratic one-man show "kaba-reh", a cheeky-frivolous mixture of sketch-joke-travesty. I performed it regularly at the MUH (Münchner Kleinkunstbühne). I completed my acting training at Studio Haller in Heidelberg.
- I have been working as a freelance actor, theater teacher, director and author since 1989 and run my "Theater-Impro-Spiele" courses and workshops throughout Germany.
- My aim is to strengthen your self-confidence, test your limits and encourage your creativity, playfulness and joie de vivre.
- Using the basic elements of the performing arts, you will get to know yourself better in a playful way.
- You act and react more sensitively. I will sharpen your stage presence through scenic play, improvisations, as well as solo, partner and group exercises.
- My warm-up is a mixture of creative games, relaxation exercises, body awareness, voice and breathing training.
- I respond to impulses and requests from the group.
- Playing theater always has a therapeutic effect. You deal with your emotions, play different roles and can playfully free yourself from stuck patterns of behavior.
