The most beautiful views of the sea of lights

As the days grow shorter and it starts to get dark as early as the early afternoon, Stuttgart reveals a very special side to itself. Lights begin to twinkle everywhere, and you get the best view of them from the hills surrounding the ‘Kessel’.

Stuttgart’s hills are perfect for a winter walk with panoramic views. Numerous paths lead you to vantage points from which you can let your gaze wander far across the city. Pack a thermos flask of hot tea or mulled wine and a few biscuits, wrap up warm and off you go: your cosy winter walk with sweeping views.
