Mailänder Platz is located in the northern third of the Europaviertel and was created as part of the development of the new district in 2014. The square is reserved for pedestrians and can be reached by subway via the two tram stops "Stadtbibliothek" and "Budapester Platz". The very modern square is home to the Milaneo shopping center, the city library with a wonderful viewing terrace and the Museum of Illusions.
