Stuttgart-Mitte

Stuttgart's Mitte district around Schlossplatz forms the centre of the state capital and is therefore the heart of Stuttgart. Beautiful and unique neighbourhoods such as the Heusteig, Leonhards or Bohnenviertel give the Mitte an individual charm, away from the hustle and bustle of Königstraße. Stuttgart's "shopping mile", Königstraße, is the longest continuous shopping pedestrian zone in Europe and stretches from the main railway station westwards. Past the Schlossplatz, the Schlossgarten and the Old and New Palaces, this part of Stuttgart is hard to miss.
